Description

  • Lead, hire, coach, and develop the Employee Engagement team.
  • Own the strategy and end-to-end delivery of signature company moments, including CKO, mid-year and holiday celebrations, Customer First Day, BFCM and quarterly release activations, K:BOS, and Open Enrollment/Wellness Week.
  • Design and maintain employee lifecycle touchpoints such as onboarding milestones, work anniversaries, employee appreciation, career transitions, and new parent moments.
  • Build and operationalize rewards and recognition programs, including peer and leadership nomination processes and supporting systems.
  • Design and run learning and connection programs such as Klaviyo Bites & Insights, Hackathons, Demo Fairs, and Coffee Chats.
  • Own the community strategy, including Heritage Months, KRG leadership structure, and support models for community-led programming.
  • Lead the global swag strategy, including the online swag store, anniversary and new hire kits, new parent gifts, and signature moment merchandise.
  • Build playbooks, frameworks, and measurement systems to enable scalable, consistent execution across locations.
  • Partner with people analytics to establish employee listening using surveys, qualitative feedback, and program metrics.
  • Translate employee experience strategy into an annual programming calendar and align partners across Internal Communications and Workplace Experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in employee experience, employee engagement, event strategy, internal communications, or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years leading and developing teams.
  • Experience in a fast-growing tech or high-growth environment is strongly preferred.
  • Proven people leadership and culture-building experience with a focus on engagement, retention, and organizational health.
  • Experience building and operationalizing complex, multi-stakeholder programs from scratch.
  • Ability to set long-term strategy and also execute programs with precision and care.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using employee feedback and data to shape programs.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including influencing without authority.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills that translate ideas into clear narratives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for onboarding, team meetings, client or partner work, and industry events.
  • AI fluency with responsible use of AI, including privacy, security, bias awareness, and human-in-the-loop practices.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $116,000 to $174,000 USD for US locations.
  • Eligibility for participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan.
  • Equity as part of the total compensation package.
