Description

  • Own the full sales cycle for inbound leads from small to medium-sized school networks and districts across the Southeast.
  • Prospect for new district partners and build a pipeline of target accounts in the region.
  • Set meetings with interested customers and present the value of Khan Academy district partnership offerings.
  • Coordinate with Southeast sales leads and the Director of School Partnerships on partner targeting and regional pipeline development.
  • Support special projects including state-level initiatives, conferences, pitch meetings, and teacher and administrator training sessions.
  • Track, report, and manage lead status in Salesforce and in weekly marketing and sales meetings.
  • Assist with the contracting process for school and small district partnerships.
  • Partner with marketing and sales enablement to improve campaigns, collateral, lead collection flow, and pitch materials.
  • Work with Success and Professional Learning teams to transition new partners into implementation and ongoing support.
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFPs, RFQs, Data Privacy Agreements, and vendor documentation requests.
  • Relay partner feedback to product teams to help inform and prioritize the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or professional learning roles.
  • At least 1 year of experience partnering with U.S. schools or school districts.
  • Understanding of the K-12 education market and EdTech providers.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across the district ecosystem, from classroom teachers to superintendents.
  • Experience with both inbound and outbound lead generation and sales pipeline management.
  • Background as a former classroom teacher or administrator is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively to provide realistic solutions for partners.
  • Experience using a CRM to track sales stages, with Salesforce preferred.
  • Understanding of district procurement processes, including experience submitting bids for RFPs/RFQs, is a nice to have.

  • Competitive salary, with a compensation band of $77,600 to $97,000 USD annually for U.S.-based candidates.
