Description

  • Lead, plan, schedule, and oversee the development and delivery of high-quality proposal responses from pre-RFP through post-submission.
  • Run and continuously improve procurement response and grant application processes for K-12 district and state-level RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Monitor K-12 procurement and grant opportunities across databases, procurement platforms, and consultant-sourced leads.
  • Research prospect districts’ leadership, mission, learning plans, and goals to tailor responses to their needs.
  • Review procurement requirements to assess alignment with Khan Academy’s product and terms of service.
  • Prepare and lead proposal kickoff meetings and daily or weekly status calls, keeping work on schedule.
  • Track procurement opportunities in Salesforce and manage related content libraries with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Complete, submit, and track data privacy agreements, vendor questionnaires, and other required documentation for schools and districts.
  • Work closely with sales, legal, security, accessibility, and other internal teams to process vendor document requests.
  • Conduct proposal retrospectives, document lessons learned, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing proposals, grants, procurement responses, or other complex cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in the K-12 education or EdTech sector, preferred.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into persuasive proposal content.
  • High proficiency with Google Suite, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce.
  • Experience using Grammarly or other AI-related tools to streamline responses and editing tasks.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from subject matter experts and previous proposals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
