Description

  • Maintain the Service Bill of Materials (SBOM) for assigned vehicle sub-systems.
  • Review engineering changes and documentation to assess impact to serviceable components.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers and Field Operations to identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Manage change implementation and part effectivity through PLM platforms.
  • Cascade engineering changes to downstream field data sources such as parts catalogs and service manuals.
  • Coordinate serviceability validation for new serviceable parts with Design Engineering and mechatronic technicians.
  • Support Service Supply Chain teams to implement a healthy supply strategy before product launch.
  • Document end-to-end part supersession for serviceable parts in the ERP database.
  • Deploy and monitor inventory strategies to support end-of-lifecycle parts in the field.
  • Provide field support for parts escalation inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive experience or equivalent experience.
  • Background in New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Proficiency in project management.
  • Ability to organize and drive continuous program improvement.
  • Strong ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and suppliers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Passion for developing, improving, and maintaining processes.
  • Startup experience focused on early service program development is preferred.
  • PLM experience with Delmia or equivalent is advantageous.
  • ERP knowledge for managing product master data and configurations is advantageous.
  • Supply chain knowledge for the service lifecycle is advantageous.
