Description

  • Manage localization projects across text localization, audio localization, and localization QA/testing.
  • Define project scope, schedules, workflows, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Estimate, plan, and track projects from start to finish with built-in contingencies.
  • Lead project planning, kick-off meetings, and ongoing project-related meetings.
  • Coordinate multilingual production pipelines across internal teams and external vendors.
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify scope, requirements, timelines, and best practices.
  • Monitor project execution, quality, risk mitigation, and corrective actions throughout pre- and post-production.
  • Manage project finances, including cost tracking, invoicing checks, WIP/accruals, forecasts, and margin control.
  • Maintain accurate project data and reporting, ensuring sustainability across budget, profitability, and client retention.
  • Support process, tooling, training, and quality standardization initiatives to improve localization workflows.

Requirements

  • Experience in videogames and/or localization, on the client or vendor side.
  • Degree in Business, Audio, Translation, Computer Science, or Games Development is an advantage.
  • Experience managing multilingual environments and/or projects.
  • Knowledge of production tools and/or CAT tools; memoQ is an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of PC and MS Office products.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A second language is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a remote, fast-paced, complex global environment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Motivated team player with a willingness to learn and apply business-specific technology and methodologies.
