Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage the sales team to build a high-accountability culture.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and customer service teams to ensure smooth customer experience and delivery.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to support margin and profitability goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform sales and product strategy.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through close and post-sale account management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience selling in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas in a B2B setting.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events, up to 50%.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production timelines.
  • Experience with capital equipment, custom fabrication, or industrial components sales is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma environments is preferred.
  • Existing network of contacts within the manufacturing or production industry is preferred.
  • Experience managing national or multi-territory accounts is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $72,000–$96,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
