Description

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts.
  • Monitor market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a sales team to drive accountability and high performance.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms aligned with margin and profitability goals.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation through deal close and ongoing account management.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance data to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven success in consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling within manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and production timelines.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events.
  • Preferred: established network of contacts in the manufacturing or production industry.
  • Preferred: familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma environments.
  • Preferred: experience managing national or multi-territory accounts.
  • Preferred: background in capital equipment, custom fabrication, or industrial components sales.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $72,000–$96,000 per year, depending on experience.
