Description

  • Architect, develop, and deploy production-grade LLM capabilities within the Kayzen Console.
  • Build backend services, APIs, and integrations connecting AI functionality to the product.
  • Contribute to full-stack and customer-facing product development as needed.
  • Implement production patterns involving LLMs, RAG, embeddings, agents, and tool calling.
  • Create reusable components and abstractions that improve engineering velocity and consistency.
  • Establish evaluation, observability, monitoring, and feedback loops for AI features.
  • Optimize AI systems for quality, latency, reliability, and inference cost.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and iterate based on telemetry, evaluation results, and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product, ML, and Engineering teams to translate product problems into practical AI solutions.
  • Prototype and validate ideas, then convert successful experiments into maintainable production systems.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered features to production.
  • Practical experience with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and/or agentic systems.
  • Experience with LLM APIs and orchestration patterns.
  • Understanding of production LLM concerns, including evaluation, observability, failure modes, cost, and latency.
  • Experience iterating on AI features using telemetry, evaluation results, or user feedback.
  • Strong experience designing APIs, services, and production-grade systems.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and own work through production.
  • Experience with full-stack development using technologies such as Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Node.js is a strong plus.
  • Comfort working with AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and production environments.
  • Experience with multi-agent systems, tool calling, MCP, guardrails, moderation, prompt/context management, routing, caching, fallbacks, Docker, or modern frontend applications is preferred.
