Description

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases for web, desktop, and native mobile applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, cross-platform, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop and maintain test cases and testing documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and validate testing requirements.
  • Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and produce clear defect documentation.
  • Lead bug triage activities and support issue resolution with engineering teams.
  • Validate REST and SOAP APIs and verify backend data using SQL queries.
  • Support release validation and post-release verification activities.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and quality concerns to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing approaches, and product quality standards.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or a similar QA role.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and software testing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with manual, exploratory, regression, and cross-platform testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience working with SQL databases and writing queries to validate data and support backend testing.
  • Experience testing native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Ability to analyze logs, browser console output, and network traffic to investigate issues.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize testing efforts and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Playwright (nice to have).
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Kotlin (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git (nice to have).
  • Experience working in distributed or international teams (nice to have).
  • Experience with debugging and proxy tools such as Charles Proxy or Proxyman (nice to have).
