Description

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to drive timely payment and reduce delinquency.
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email to send payment reminders and provide support.
  • Work with customers to resolve payment challenges and arrange payment plans when needed.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and account concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Billing to resolve payment-related issues and support customer retention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed collection notes in the system.
  • Monitor aging reports and prioritize outreach based on account risk and customer needs.
  • Educate customers on billing processes, payment options, and account status to prevent future issues.
  • Recommend account actions, such as credit holds, while balancing customer relationships and company policy.
  • Support month-end accounts receivable activities, reporting, and collection tracking in CRM and billing systems.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of collections, accounts receivable, or customer account management experience, preferably in SaaS or technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with accounting or collections systems such as NetSuite, SAP, GetPaid, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities with a self-motivated approach.
  • Experience in a subscription-based or SaaS billing environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and automated collections tools preferred.
  • Basic understanding of credit risk and financial analysis preferred.
