Description

  • Meet with customers to define, document, and translate business requirements into project plans.
  • Allocate resources, set milestones, and drive progress across implementation projects.
  • Oversee resource schedules and coordinate updates to maximize productivity.
  • Lead project discovery by analyzing customer needs, timelines, and business requirements.
  • Align project scope, software tools, and implementation approach to customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with implementation consultants, product teams, and support teams to move projects forward.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, process flows, status reports, and configuration worksheets.
  • Own projects end to end, monitor tasks and dependencies, and ensure delivery on time and within required KPIs.
  • Track and report project KPIs, effort, hours, scope, schedule, quality, and overruns to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted adviser.

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing and delivering customer-facing projects.
  • 3+ years of experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Strong background in software implementation.
  • Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework or similar.
  • Excellent organization, communication, customer relationship, time management, interpersonal, and writing skills.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, motivational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective resource planning and risk management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate the impact of decisions on project outcomes and customer success.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, and able to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, Project+, or similar is preferred.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business or STEM, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, reporting, and macros, are preferred.
  • Managerial experience deploying software solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with emerging cloud, hosting, and web technologies is preferred.
