Description

  • Partner with the Clinical Sales Manager to achieve shared territory goals and drive appropriate adoption of Karius tests.
  • Provide clinical and scientific expertise in customer-facing engagements to increase demand and remove barriers to adoption.
  • Lead and tailor scientific presentations such as Grand Rounds, ASP meetings, M&M discussions, and dinner programs.
  • Engage physicians, pharmacists, nurses, lab directors, and infection control stakeholders to identify champions and support workflow integration.
  • Collaborate with marketing and training to identify content needs, develop messaging, and refine tools using field feedback.
  • Build and grow Centers of Excellence to support optimal clinical use and broader market adoption of Karius tests.
  • Gather field insights and relay them to shape commercial strategy, product positioning, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Stay current on infectious disease diagnostic developments and translate insights into actions for field teams and customers.
  • Represent Karius at conferences and professional meetings to build relationships and capture market feedback.

Requirements

  • Advanced clinical degree required: PA-C, NP, PharmD, MD, or DO.
  • Measurable clinical experience as a healthcare provider or clinical pharmacist required.
  • Clinical experience in hematology/oncology, infectious disease, transplant, or intensive care preferred.
  • Familiarity with infectious disease treatment and management required.
  • Understanding of microbiology, virology, and common diagnostic modalities such as PCR, culture methods, and serologies required.
  • Knowledge of medical and laboratory structure and hierarchy required.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory workflow and fiscal operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of cfDNA technology preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the greater metropolitan area health systems within Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% required.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $124,000 to $186,000 per year.
