Description

  • Deliver and exceed retail sales targets across the Southwest territory, with a focus on improving brand ranking and market share.
  • Monitor weekly sales performance by door, district, and market, then adjust strategies to maximize results.
  • Execute brand and retailer promotional calendars, launches, and in-store marketing events at the market and door level.
  • Build and optimize visit calendars and partner in-store with retailer teams to improve customer experience and sell-through.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with retail leadership, selling staff, and brand partners to strengthen brand advocacy and visibility.
  • Conduct Brand Business Reviews with store and retailer leadership to align goals and improvement strategies.
  • Lead store-level education, training, and coaching for field teams, store teams, and customers.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and hold accountable a field team of Account Coordinators and Brand Specialists across a multi-city territory.
  • Manage territory operations, reporting, and budgets while maintaining brand standards, merchandising, and fixture/shop maintenance.
  • Travel extensively across the Southwest market and support brand conferences, key events, and additional business needs as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined education and sales experience in retail cosmetics or beauty.
  • Strong knowledge of sales influence, product education, events, and store operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving sell-through through retailer partnerships.
  • Experience executing in-store events, trainings, and retail marketing initiatives with consistent brand standards.
  • Strong understanding of Ulta policies, procedures, and culture, or ability to quickly learn and apply them.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Education, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Highly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple markets and shifting priorities.
  • 50%+ travel required, including overnights, across the Southwest market.

  • Base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
  • Annual company-based performance bonus with eligibility to earn up to 200% of target bonus.
