Description

  • Commit to a consistent weekly availability block of 40 hours and accept interview assignments, including short-notice requests.
  • Conduct 60-minute technical interviews on Karat's platform across back-end, full-stack, front-end, and system design domains.
  • Provide thorough written evaluations of candidates' coding approach, technical knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Maintain Karat's standards for structured, inclusive, bias-mitigated interviewing throughout the engagement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience conducting technical interviews, either through a formal employer program or independently.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • A reliable home setup with stable internet, a working webcam, and a microphone.
  • Genuine availability to hold a consistent weekly block for the full three-month term.
  • Must be currently located in the United States.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Independent contractor status for this engagement.
  • Preferred: Ability to commit to a fixed-term, four-month engagement through Q3 2026.
