Description

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance data architectures using Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Develop and manage ELT/ETL workflows with dbt, including modular, testable, and documented transformations.
  • Build and maintain cloud-native data pipelines on AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and EMR.
  • Architect and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
  • Develop data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
  • Use Python for data engineering, automation, and advanced data processing.
  • Implement and manage Feature Store solutions for ML lifecycle management.
  • Use Snowflake Cortex to support AI/ML-powered data applications and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Establish data governance, data quality, security, and performance best practices across data platforms.
  • Mentor and guide data engineers and other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security.
  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience with AWS data services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, and Redshift.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Experience with Snowflake Cortex and AI-driven data applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, and workflows.
  • Experience with Dagster for data orchestration and pipeline management.
  • Hands-on experience with Feature Stores such as Snowflake Feature Store or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of machine learning workflows and MLOps practices.
  • Familiarity with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Certifications in AWS, Snowflake, or Databricks are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
