Description

Manage SDR2 direct reports by assigning, reviewing, and closing approvals while ensuring deals are completed compliantly and efficiently.
Oversee the sales pipeline for aged, reworked, and marketing-sourced accounts owned by Direct Sales.
Track monthly conversion metrics including volume, gross commission, approval rate, and closing rate.
Partner with SVP of Direct Sales, SVP of Marketing, Sales Ops, Product, and HR through regular meetings and updates.
Provide product knowledge, sales support resources, and partnership updates to SDR2s and the Marketing team.
Act as a liaison between Sales and Product to support relevant technological improvements.
Develop strategies to grow accounts and resolve recurring issues.
Coach, mentor, and motivate the team while setting expectations and holding employees accountable for results.
Lead hiring, performance management, compensation, and evaluations for team members.
Support career growth and succession planning with Kapitus leadership and HR.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience preferred.
2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in payment processing, financial services, or consultative sales.
2+ years of management experience, ideally in B2B sales.
Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical, presentation, phone, negotiation, and business development skills.
Experience with contract or partnership negotiations is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM tools.
Extensive industry knowledge of pricing, equipment, and/or gateways.
Ability to multitask, plan, organize, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
