Description

  • Design systems and make architectural decisions for the Submission Processing team.
  • Build and scale LLM-based systems that process large volumes of unstructured data daily.
  • Extract precise information and surface insights for insurer decision-making workflows.
  • Own end-to-end outcomes with significant technical autonomy and accountability.
  • Set technical direction for the team in partnership with other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate proactively to surface blockers, ask clarifying questions, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Test, measure, and iterate on ideas in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Work across backend engineering and AI-driven workflows in a production environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Experience with LLMs in production and deploying them at scale.
  • Experience with AWS and serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2.
  • Experience with asynchronous workflows and cloud environments.
  • Strong Python experience; other object-oriented language backgrounds are also considered.
  • Comfort with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Demonstrated ownership, grit, and ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Strong proactive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bonus: experience with document pipelines and processing large amounts of data.
