Description

  • Lead the framing, development, and deployment of machine learning models at scale.
  • Turn structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into insights about behavior and risk.
  • Own projects end-to-end and drive project direction with sustained focus.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Software Engineers in a two-week sprint environment.
  • Develop and deploy models and algorithms into production.
  • Apply machine learning and statistical methods to solve insurance decision-making problems.
  • Use a wide range of technologies to choose the right tool for each task.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering and data science.
  • In-depth understanding of applied machine learning algorithms, especially NLP, and statistics.
  • Experience with Python and major Python data science libraries.
  • Experience deploying models and algorithms in production.
  • Comfort working across both data science and the engineering needed to productionize models.
  • Strong communication style with an openness to frank, respectful collaboration.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with data analytics and data engineering is a plus.
