Description

  • Execute Level I installer duties and follow company documentation to maintain installation and service standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets with organized, timely updates and prompt coordination on assigned work.
  • Own assigned tasks by understanding project scope and service expectations and delivering completed work to standard.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating tasks within team capabilities and fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers when leading a team and incorporate feedback to improve performance.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers to support smooth project execution.
  • Configure and commission systems, including device and management platform setup, to deliver fully operational solutions.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify product quality and performance.
  • Train customers on basic system operations after installation.
  • Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products, and take on additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high-voltage and/or low-voltage systems.
  • Hands-on field experience from prior work experience.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Previous knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
