Description

  • Execute Level I installer duties while following documentation and installation standards.
  • Manage project and service tickets with organized tracking, updates, and follow-through.
  • Own assigned work by understanding project scope and service expectations and delivering results.
  • Lead installation teams by delegating tasks and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Mentor Level 1 installers and support their growth through feedback and guidance.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and customers.
  • Configure, program, and commission systems and devices to deliver fully operational solutions.
  • Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) before installation to verify quality and performance.
  • Work with nurse call systems, card access systems, and video surveillance products.
  • Provide basic operations training to customers and accept additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a previous construction trade.
  • Advanced knowledge of electricity, including high and/or low voltage.
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work experience.
  • Basic telecommunications knowledge, including TCP/IP, general networking, computers, and VoIP.
  • Ability to identify and use common low-voltage cabling.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Team management or supervisor experience.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope and using service ticketing processes.
  • Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
