Description

  • Engage in testing throughout the development lifecycle, from early stages through release, to ensure quality, functionality, and smooth deployment.
  • Perform manual testing of web applications and third-party integrations related to identity verification, AI-assisted document processing, and internal compliance tooling.
  • Conduct API testing and validation using Postman.
  • Participate in planning sessions, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and grooming meetings to align on scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Analyze technical documentation to understand requirements, specifications, and expected system behavior.
  • Write and maintain test documentation, including test cases and other QA artifacts.
  • Verify builds on staging, coordinate production deployments, and ensure quality gates are met before each release.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot user-reported issues, including during quarterly on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • At least 1.5 years of commercial experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of client-server architecture and web application workflows.
  • Strong understanding of software testing processes, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with web testing, API testing with Postman, regression testing, and smoke testing.
  • Good knowledge of browser DevTools for troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in log analysis, such as with Graylog.
  • Good knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Experience writing test documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with test management systems such as TestRail and bug tracking systems such as Jira.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Experience testing KYC flows is a plus.
  • Experience writing automated tests is a plus.
  • Experience working on product teams, especially in fintech, is a plus.
