Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation using Playwright with TypeScript for Salesforce UI flows and web integrations.
  • Test Salesforce applications, including custom objects, Lightning Components, Flows, Apex logic, assignment rules, and process automations.
  • Validate Salesforce integrations across systems, APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.
  • Build scalable automation suites for regression, smoke, and integration testing across Salesforce deployments.
  • Collaborate with developers, Salesforce engineers, and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and validation steps.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support deployments to sandboxes and production.
  • Debug issues, triage automation failures, and improve the reliability of testing frameworks.
  • Set up, manage, and validate Salesforce scratch orgs and sandbox environments.
  • Contribute to cross-platform validation of business processes and product quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation, preferably for complex enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience testing Salesforce applications, including objects, flows, permissions, Lightning components, validation rules, Apex triggers/classes, and automation tools.
  • Experience with integration testing across systems, APIs, middleware, and data flows in a Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for automation development.
  • Ability to analyze complex Salesforce configurations and translate them into robust test scenarios.
  • Understanding of QA processes in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Experience with Salesforce-specific testing tools such as Provar, Selenium-Salesforce integrations, or Apex test classes (bonus).
  • Familiarity with API testing platforms like Postman or RestAssured, or similar tools (bonus).
  • Understanding of Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Metadata API (bonus).
  • Successful candidates must pass comprehensive background checks before joining.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional travel for in-person company-wide or departmental meetings, typically 1-2 times per year.
