Description

  • Develop automated tests for new features and regression scenarios.
  • Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing, with manual testing as needed.
  • Triage, report, and track defects from discovery through resolution.
  • Monitor and help reduce the number of end-user found defects compared with QA found defects.
  • Minimize QA impact on the release schedule.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate test generation and validate generated tests with sound judgment.
  • Contribute to requirements review from a QA perspective.
  • Take increasing ownership of quality for the squad’s features.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Development roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable test automation framework.
  • Good coding skills that support efficient test automation.
  • Experience with API testing and automation.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking tools, preferably Jira.
  • Familiarity with version control, preferably Git.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment with clear written communication and reliable async collaboration.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants for test generation and willingness to build a disciplined workflow around them (preferred).
  • Experience creating and maintaining manual testing plans (preferred).
  • Experience working on a SaaS platform or custom-built product (preferred).
  • Familiarity with agile environments and frequent release cycles (preferred).
  • Awareness of DevOps practices related to QA infrastructure and CI/CD (preferred).
  • Understanding of web application development concepts (preferred).
  • Self-directed, curious, and proactive about ownership, feedback, and personal growth (preferred).
