Description

  • Lead and manage one or more cross-functional infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Own team delivery, quality, and technical outcomes.
  • Drive strategic engineering initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, Trading, and senior engineering leaders to translate business needs into technical execution.
  • Improve planning, estimation, CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and release management processes.
  • Guide architecture for systems operating across hybrid infrastructure.
  • Ensure production-system availability, performance, and observability.
  • Identify and reduce technical debt while maintaining delivery velocity.
  • Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop engineers, including conducting 1:1s and performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, customer focus, and results orientation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience in an Engineering Manager role.
  • Background in financial systems, trading platforms, or other high-reliability domains.
  • Strong understanding of backend systems.
  • Experience operating systems across cloud environments, including EC2, networking, security, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
  • Familiarity with observability tools for metrics, logging, alerting, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid environments is preferred.
  • Hands-on Ruby experience is a plus.
  • Experience with low-latency or high-throughput systems, trading or fintech platforms, team and systems scaling, or infrastructure-as-code tools is preferred.
