Description

  • Build and maintain a high-performing engineering team through coaching, feedback, performance management, and development.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams by planning, executing, and communicating work effectively.
  • Drive quality, operational excellence, incident follow-up, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Track team performance through planning, metrics, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and operational challenges.
  • Plan team capacity and align staffing and hiring plans with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, architecture conversations, and pull request reviews.
  • Promote scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable engineering practices.
  • Identify technical and architectural risks while supporting sound technical decisions and long-term system health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, software delivery, or related technical roles, including leadership experience.
  • Experience leading software engineering teams in an agile or iterative delivery environment.
  • Experience with software development lifecycles, delivery planning, stakeholder management, and operational excellence.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, employee development, and team building.
  • Understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, operational practices, monitoring, and software delivery lifecycles.
  • Experience using metrics and data to improve delivery effectiveness, quality, and operational performance.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, risks, dependencies, resource capacity, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel occasionally domestically and internationally.
