Description

  • Maintain sales contact, pipeline tracking, and other sales activity reports.
  • Work with operations staff to move loans from submission to funding.
  • Actively manage the loan pipeline and support deal progression.
  • Develop new business and strengthen existing client relationships to drive satisfaction.
  • Solicit business from mortgage brokers and non-delegated correspondents in the assigned territory.
  • Follow up with prospective clients and provide ongoing service support.
  • Communicate and train clients on products, policies, and procedures to keep loan files complete and guideline-compliant.
  • Build and maintain an effective territory plan and provide written sales call activity reports to management.
  • Attend local and state trade association meetings as directed.
  • Stay current on market indices, market changes, and underwriting guideline updates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Executive in inside or outside sales within the wholesale lending channel.
  • Prior Wholesale/Non-Delegated Correspondent Account Executive experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage industry experience.
  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office products.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle detailed assignments, organize and prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Existing broker and correspondent relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and internal operations teams.
  • Preferred: experience building and managing territory-based sales plans.
