Description

  • Deploy, manage, and secure Ivanti’s production SaaS environments in AWS and Azure.
  • Work with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams to solve complex operational problems.
  • Automate common and repetitive tasks through scripting and software solutions.
  • Write documentation and training materials for internal use.
  • Train other colleagues on tools, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for 24x7 follow-the-sun incident response and problem resolution.
  • Perform technical deep dives into application, database, infrastructure, load balancer, operating system, and network issues.
  • Support observability, release automation, chaos engineering, and broader platform reliability improvements.

Requirements

  • US citizenship and current domestic U.S. location are required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or 2+ years with an earned BSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
  • Proficiency with Python and one of the following languages: Java, Golang, or C#.
  • Proficiency working with Bash or PowerShell programmatically.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
  • Experience troubleshooting Java and .NET applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting network and storage infrastructure issues.
  • Experience working with Linux distributions such as Debian, RHEL, SUSE, or Slackware, as well as Windows.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to configure and fine-tune at least one web or application server such as HAProxy, Apache, Nginx, or IIS.
  • Ability to configure monitoring tools such as New Relic, DataDog, or Splunk.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies, preferably AWS EKS or Azure AKS.
  • Experience with deployment pipeline tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and/or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency working with and developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
