Description

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for a defined list of government agencies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer IT initiatives and aligning Ivanti solutions to agency mission goals.
  • Lead initial executive and CxO discussions and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop revenue growth plans with marketing and channel teams to exceed annual targets.
  • Manage the sales process from opportunity development through closure.
  • Own ongoing account management and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling of products and services across existing accounts.
  • Mentor and collaborate with a team of account managers to support shared success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience selling enterprise software.
  • Experience in account management and new business sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to understand the broader business drivers behind IT initiatives.
  • Defined sales process and methodology to drive repeatable, predictable results.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working for or with public sector-focused value-added resellers and/or system integrators is a plus.
  • Experience engaging executive-level and CxO stakeholders is preferred.
  • Experience selling into government or public sector accounts is preferred.
