Description

  • Build contact lists of higher education stakeholders and target audiences.
  • Support audience engagement through LinkedIn and mass email campaigns.
  • Assist with Ithaka S+R website management.
  • Contribute to social media management and broader communications and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to define project tasks and deliverables.
  • Learn about higher education communities and Ithaka S+R’s research and consulting work.
  • Participate in discussions and projects beyond the intern’s assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a third- or fourth-year undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Pursuing a degree requiring strong writing, communication, research, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong interest in Ithaka S+R’s mission and higher education challenges.
  • Interest in learning communications and marketing.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, remote team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to set goals and seek feedback.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about learning new skills.
  • Must be able to work and reside in the continental United States.
  • ITHAKA does not provide current or future immigration sponsorship.

Benefits

  • $25.00 per hour.
  • Part-time schedule of 20 hours per week.
  • 12-week internship.
