Description

  • Write and maintain data migration scripts for identity transitions, multi-tenancy migrations, and schema changes.
  • Manage PostgreSQL and Dgraph database operations, including schema migrations, integrity checks, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Configure and validate backend platform services such as Identity Service, Keycloak, AI Chat, and related integrations.
  • Build and maintain Python automation tooling for repeatable deployment and configuration tasks.
  • Integrate platform APIs for customer workflows, including authentication flows, data exchange endpoints, and service configuration.
  • Configure identity provider integrations such as Keycloak, SAML, OIDC, SSO with PingFederate, Okta, and Azure AD.
  • Troubleshoot application-layer issues involving service configuration, database performance, API connectivity, and authentication failures.
  • Support agent and module deployment with configuration validation, backend connectivity, and integration testing.
  • Coordinate with customer engineering teams on configuration requirements, migration schedules, and validation.
  • Maintain migration runbooks, service configuration documentation, and customer environment notes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or a technical customer-facing delivery role.
  • Strong Python development skills, including production scripts, automation tools, and data processing pipelines.
  • Hands-on production experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including queries, schema migrations, performance tuning, and backup/restore.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs for integrations, debugging connectivity, and reading API documentation.
  • Operational experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and troubleshooting workloads, reading logs, and understanding pod lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with identity and authentication systems such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and LDAP at a configuration level.
  • Experience working directly with external customers in a technical capacity.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across application logs, database queries, and service configurations.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Experience with graph databases such as Dgraph or Neo4j, including queries, schema design, and performance optimization (preferred).
  • Experience with Keycloak or other open-source identity providers, including administration, realm configuration, and user federation (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, IAM, KMS, and RDS, or equivalent Azure experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes application deployment (preferred).
  • Experience writing production data migration tooling with rollback capabilities (preferred).
  • Experience with TypeScript/Node.js in addition to Python (preferred).
  • Familiarity with compliance or security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, or CMMC (preferred).
  • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government customers (preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus (preferred).
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate or CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
  • Active security clearance, Secret or Top Secret (preferred).
