Description

  • Provide healthcare customer service and call centre support for U.S.-based operations.
  • Handle clinical administration, case management, and client or patient administration tasks.
  • Manage patient intake, onboarding, scheduling, and appointment coordination.
  • Process medical billing, claims, accounts receivable, and insurance-related requests.
  • Support authorizations, approvals, and interpretation of insurance and clinical information.
  • Communicate with patients and clients professionally by phone and in writing.
  • Handle escalations, sensitive conversations, and fast-paced operational workflows.
  • Work rotational or after-hours shifts aligned to U.S. time zones when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of BPO or call centre experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of USA healthcare experience for case management or billing roles.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Confident and professional phone manner.
  • Ability to interpret insurance details and clinical information.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and accuracy skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and handling escalations or sensitive conversations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PDF systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM, EHR, or scheduling systems is beneficial.
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or U.S. insurance processes is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work U.S. EST, CST, or PST hours, including night shifts in South Africa, rotational shifts, weekends, or after-hours coverage as needed.
  • Must have fixed fibre internet with a minimum 25 Mbps upload and download speed; Rain, LTE, 5G, or similar connections are not acceptable.
  • Must have a wired Ethernet connection, reliable backup power, and a dedicated professional workspace.
