Description

  • Architect, develop, and deliver full-stack features across AngularJS/Angular front ends, ASP.NET APIs, background services, and SQL database layers.
  • Lead technical design discussions, make architectural decisions, and establish coding standards.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested C# and TypeScript code aligned with SOLID principles, design patterns, and RESTful API practices.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies for high-performance data access.
  • Build and iterate on customer-facing web applications, owning features end to end from UI/UX through the database.
  • Prototype and validate new approaches using machine learning and data science for pipeline integrity problems.
  • Integrate third-party data sources, GIS platforms, and customer systems through APIs and ETL pipelines.
  • Contribute to Power BI dashboards, SSRS reports, and enterprise analytics features.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
  • Champion engineering best practices including unit testing, CI/CD, agile methods, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of general software development experience, including 3-5 years in web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, Microsoft ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexing strategy, and query performance tuning.
  • Experience with SPA frameworks such as Angular and AngularJS, plus ASP.NET WebAPI, MVC, or Razor.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, SOLID principles, and GoF design patterns.
  • Proficiency with Git source control and unit testing frameworks such as XUnit, NUnit, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
  • Experience with oil and gas pipeline integrity data systems such as ILI data, PODS, APDM, UPDM, or similar GIS pipeline data platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with pipeline integrity processes such as corrosion management, CP surveys, field NDE data, dig management, or regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, or cloud architecture is preferred.
  • Advanced SQL performance tuning experience, including execution plans and query optimization, is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, SSRS, analytical data models, or data warehousing concepts is preferred.
  • Experience with .NET 6 or greater, Entity Framework, NodeJS, Oracle, or other enterprise databases is preferred.
  • Machine learning or data science exposure in an engineering context is preferred.
