Description

  • Own and execute outbound prospecting across a defined set of high-value and mid-market accounts in partnership with assigned Account Executives.
  • Research target accounts in depth to personalize outreach based on financial health, competitive landscape, fleet challenges, and organizational structure.
  • Develop and run multi-touch, multi-channel outreach sequences across phone, email, and social channels to engage senior operations and safety leaders.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly quotas for Sales Qualified Opportunities and pipeline generated from outbound efforts.
  • Gather market feedback from outbound activity and share insights to help refine the ideal customer profile and go-to-market strategy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for high-value inbound leads such as demo requests, paid leads, and tradeshow inquiries, with speed-to-lead as a priority.
  • Qualify inbound prospects through discovery calls to assess fit, uncover pain points, and convert qualified leads into discovery meetings for Account Executives.
  • Manage and nurture inbound leads that are not yet sales-ready through personalized follow-up and content delivery.
  • Ensure only qualified leads that meet ICP criteria are passed to the sales team to maintain strong conversion rates.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality and campaign messaging, and become a subject matter expert on IntelliShift’s platform and fleet industry trends.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an Account Development, Sales Development, or Business Development role.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or a related technology field, preferably targeting fleet or operations personas.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to hold high-level business conversations.
  • Proven ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive, high-energy approach to daily and monthly activity goals.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Salesloft, or similar sequencing and tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience selling to C-level and VP-level stakeholders is preferred.
  • Familiarity with fleet management technology, GPS fleet tracking, AI dash cams, digital inspections, or maintenance solutions is preferred.
  • Ability to participate in ongoing sales, product, and industry training.
  • Comfort working with strict ICP and qualification standards for lead handoff.
