Description

  • Launch new retail partners and manage ongoing relationships with existing Instacart retail partners.
  • Develop strategic plans to meet retail partners’ needs and support their growth on Instacart.
  • Lead the launch process for new marketplace partners, including catalog setup, marketing and PR, and operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement strategic plans and meet goals on tight deadlines.
  • Perform data analysis to generate business insights, growth strategies, and execution plans.
  • Establish processes and reporting to streamline team operations and improve retailer relationships.
  • Engage, educate, collaborate, and solve problems with external partners at all levels of their organizations.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including project and program management responsibilities.
  • Use business insights to recommend scalable growth strategies and sell new offerings and opportunities.
  • Build a strong understanding of Instacart’s business operations, internal processes, and competitive context.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of previous account management experience.
  • MBA preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues.
  • Experience working with large data sets and extracting business insights from analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners.
  • Ability to manage across functions and present to leadership.
  • Quick communication response times.
  • Creative and structured problem-solving ability.
  • Experience negotiating sophisticated deals with retail, CPG, or other commerce-based partnerships to drive revenue (preferred).
  • High business acumen and understanding of a variety of partner business models (preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously with minimal direction (preferred).
  • Outstanding deck and presentation skills for executive-level stakeholders (preferred).
  • Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills (preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and chart a course with limited direction (preferred).
  • Must be located in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
  • Role is remote.
