Description

  • Manage a book of business of 5-10 accounts and own all aspects of the advertising relationship for assigned brands.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with advertisers throughout the full sales cycle.
  • Sell using consultative, thought-leadership-driven sales approaches across prioritized client accounts.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and budgeting with Mid Market Brands.
  • Analyze business insights and use them to influence client investment decisions.
  • Build relationships with executive contacts and expand engagement across new client teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Forecast growth for the assigned book of business on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Maintain a high daily volume of outbound calls, emails, and social selling activity.
  • Develop sales collateral, case studies, and custom stories to communicate the value of Instacart’s platform to CPG advertisers.
  • Generate weekly campaign reports, optimization recommendations, and monthly or quarterly business reviews.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a sales environment.
  • 1+ year of experience in digital advertising.
  • Experience managing client relationships and partnering to drive measurable growth.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Comfort analyzing and discussing CPG and advertising insights and KPIs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Experience working with large data sets and extracting business insights from analysis.
  • SQL and Tableau experience preferred.
  • Experience selling at a retail media company with fast-growing brands preferred.
  • Consistent history of achieving sales quotas while building strong client relationships preferred.
  • Understanding of CPG and retail media metrics preferred.
