Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertisers across an assigned book of business.
  • Manage the full end-to-end sales cycle and post-launch client relationship.
  • Conduct high-volume daily outreach through calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Create sales collateral, case studies, and custom stories to communicate Instacart's value to CPG advertisers.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs including retention rate, revenue generated, and live advertiser percentage.
  • Use Salesforce and sales engagement tools to prioritize leads and run cadences and dialing sequences.
  • Maintain accurate contact mapping and track contact movement within the book of business.
  • Engage active advertisers to increase investment and support growth opportunities.
  • Standardize materials and processes to support high-quality service at scale.
  • Deliver strong customer experience by managing schedules, resolving bottlenecks, and maintaining execution quality.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the advertising and/or CPG industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and lasting relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong advertising industry knowledge and understanding of CPG advertising is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce and sales engagement tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI to assist in sales processes and improve efficiency.
  • Experience working with and prioritizing a large book of business.

  • Base salary range of $56,000-$60,000 USD in CA, NY, CT, and NJ.
  • Base salary range of $54,000-$56,000 USD in WA.
  • Base salary range of $52,000-$54,000 USD in OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, and HI.
  • Base salary range of $47,000-$49,000 USD in all other states.
