Description

  • Serve as the pod’s grocery retail and CPG domain expert across merchandising, supply chain, store operations, trade, and e-commerce.
  • Embed with partner teams to identify business problems that agentic AI can meaningfully solve.
  • Lead structured discovery workshops and prioritize the partner use case map.
  • Translate partner needs and field learnings into clear requirements for the pod and R&D teams.
  • Deliver tailored demos and platform walkthroughs that show how the AI platform fits partner workflows.
  • Lead change management efforts, including workflow redesign, training, and new operating cadences.
  • Build trust with stakeholders across partner organizations, from analysts to executives.
  • Provide structured voice-of-customer feedback to inform product and engineering roadmap discussions.
  • Operate as a field-first consultant and travel regularly to partner locations, potentially 50%+ of the time.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of layered experience spanning grocery retail or CPG, B2B consulting, and ideally a technology or AI company.
  • Deep domain fluency in at least one grocery vertical such as merchandising, supply chain, store ops, ecommerce, trade marketing, or CPG.
  • Demonstrated ability to run consultative discovery with senior enterprise stakeholders and translate findings into structured requirements.
  • Experience leading organizational change management, including training, workflow redesign, and embedding new operating cadences.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with comfort presenting to both C-suite and operational audiences.
  • Proficiency with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Proficiency with workshop facilitation tools such as Miro or Lucidspark.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within North America.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI and ML concepts, including LLMs and agentic systems.
  • Preferred: exposure to agentic AI systems, RAG pipelines, or LLM-based product development.
  • Preferred: experience with Snowflake, ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle, TPM/TPO tools, and POS systems.
  • Preferred: track record using structured customer feedback to influence product and engineering roadmaps.
  • Preferred: ability to use data and storytelling to secure investment in operational improvements.
  • Preferred: prior work in a forward-deployed, embedded, or startup environment.
