Description

  • Own a portfolio of Canadian CPG advertisers as the primary point of contact for growth, retention, and long-term partnership value.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize retail media campaigns across Instacart ad products.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide data-backed recommendations to improve ROAS, incrementality, and category share.
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities, build business cases, and support renewals, expansions, and joint business planning.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews with senior client stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives, actionable roadmaps, and client-facing recommendations.
  • Forecast pipeline and revenue, manage pacing and budgets, and maintain operational excellence with internal partners.
  • Advocate for client needs with Product and Engineering by synthesizing feedback and helping pilot new features.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or client success within digital advertising, retail media, or e-commerce performance marketing.
  • Proven track record managing a portfolio of advertisers and meeting or exceeding revenue, retention, and performance goals.
  • Hands-on experience running end-to-end campaigns, including planning, trafficking coordination, optimization, and reporting.
  • Experience leading Quarterly Business Reviews or executive readouts.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and lookups.
  • Comfort interpreting large data sets to create clear, actionable insights.
  • Effective communicator with experience influencing senior client stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with CPG advertisers and familiarity with retail media networks such as Instacart Ads, Amazon Ads, or Walmart Connect (preferred).
  • Knowledge of performance marketing metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and incrementality, plus experimentation methodologies (preferred).
  • Exposure to data visualization or BI tools such as Looker or Tableau, and comfort building client-facing dashboards (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SQL for exploratory analysis and performance deep dives (preferred).
  • Bilingual English/French and experience supporting Canadian national and regional CPG stakeholders (preferred).
  • Must be located in one of the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.

Benefits

  • Highly market-competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Base salary range of $94,500 to $100,000 CAD for Canadian-based candidates.
  • Remote role with flexibility to work from home, an office, or another preferred location under Instacart’s Flex First policy.
  • Eligible for a new hire equity grant.
  • Eligible for annual refresh equity grants.
