Description

  • Serve as the Chief Product Officer’s thought partner and operational deputy by preparing materials, driving follow-through, and acting as a proxy in selected forums.
  • Own the CPO’s planning calendar, including quarterly business reviews, product leadership offsites, board and executive updates, and annual planning cycles.
  • Translate complex cross-functional inputs into clear written recommendations, decision documents, and senior-level narratives.
  • Proactively identify issues, remove blockers, broker alignment, and escalate only matters that require executive attention.
  • Design and stand up the product operating model, including portfolio prioritization, OKR processes, roadmap governance, and cross-functional rituals.
  • Build lightweight reporting cadences that provide real-time visibility into progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Drive quarterly and annual planning by coordinating inputs from product, engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams.
  • Lead high-priority transformation programs involving organizational design, AI adoption, capability building, and cross-functional change management.
  • Build the infrastructure for decision-making and communication, including DACI frameworks and async-first working norms.
  • Partner with People, Finance, and Legal to structure people and resource decisions in the product organization.
  • Pilot new tools, workflows, and norms to help define and scale AI-native ways of working.
  • Embed AI-first thinking into how product and design teams scope, prototype, and evaluate work.

Requirements

  • 7–12+ years of experience in product management, strategy, management consulting, chief of staff, or business operations roles.
  • Meaningful experience in a high-growth technology company or healthcare technology company, preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new processes, teams, or functions from scratch.
  • Familiarity with AI tooling and modern product operating models.
  • Practical experience applying AI to team workflows, preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Strong product intuition and fluency in product concepts such as roadmaps, trade-offs, customer insight, and technical constraints.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, hold complexity, and drive decisions with incomplete information.
  • Comfort working as an individual contributor without direct management responsibility.
  • High emotional intelligence and organizational savvy, with the ability to influence without creating friction.
