Description

Serve as the Chief Product Officer’s thought partner and operational deputy by preparing materials, driving follow-through, and acting as a proxy in selected forums.
Own the CPO’s planning calendar, including quarterly business reviews, product leadership offsites, board and executive updates, and annual planning cycles.
Translate complex cross-functional inputs into clear written recommendations, decision documents, and senior-level narratives.
Proactively identify issues, remove blockers, broker alignment, and escalate only matters that require executive attention.
Design and stand up the product operating model, including portfolio prioritization, OKR processes, roadmap governance, and cross-functional rituals.
Build lightweight reporting cadences that provide real-time visibility into progress, risks, and decisions.
Drive quarterly and annual planning by coordinating inputs from product, engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams.
Lead high-priority transformation programs involving organizational design, AI adoption, capability building, and cross-functional change management.
Build the infrastructure for decision-making and communication, including DACI frameworks and async-first working norms.
Partner with People, Finance, and Legal to structure people and resource decisions in the product organization.
Pilot new tools, workflows, and norms to help define and scale AI-native ways of working.
Embed AI-first thinking into how product and design teams scope, prototype, and evaluate work.

Requirements

7–12+ years of experience in product management, strategy, management consulting, chief of staff, or business operations roles.
Meaningful experience in a high-growth technology company or healthcare technology company, preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build new processes, teams, or functions from scratch.
Familiarity with AI tooling and modern product operating models.
Practical experience applying AI to team workflows, preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
Strong product intuition and fluency in product concepts such as roadmaps, trade-offs, customer insight, and technical constraints.
Ability to work through ambiguity, hold complexity, and drive decisions with incomplete information.
Comfort working as an individual contributor without direct management responsibility.
High emotional intelligence and organizational savvy, with the ability to influence without creating friction.
