Description

  • Define and continuously refine the go-to-market strategy for the Payer and Public Sector segments, including prioritization, positioning, and solution packaging.
  • Translate payer, Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage, and government health program knowledge into actionable strategy and messaging.
  • Identify market whitespace, policy trends, and competitive shifts that inform pipeline and product investment decisions.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert and executive-level advisor across deals from early-stage pipeline through large enterprise pursuits.
  • Partner with Sales leaders on consultative discovery, value-path definition, and solution strategies tailored to buyer priorities.
  • Engage directly with C-suite and senior client stakeholders to build credibility and position Innovaccer as a strategic partner.
  • Create deal content such as decks, ROI models, and RFP/RFI responses that are both technically accurate and strategically differentiated.
  • Build the internal business case for new product investments, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market pivots using client feedback, deal learnings, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with Product on solution positioning, roadmap input, and value propositions across key healthcare solution areas.
  • Partner with Marketing on thought leadership, conference strategy, and segment-specific collateral.
  • Coordinate across Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Success, and technical SMEs to support deal execution and winning motions.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of Growth Strategy professionals supporting the sales cycle.
  • Represent Innovaccer at industry conferences, panels, and client events as an external thought leader.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare strategy, with significant time on the payer or government side as an operator, consultant, or senior vendor executive.
  • Deep firsthand understanding of payer business models, managed care operations, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage dynamics, and/or state and federal government health programs.
  • Experience with UM, Risk, Quality, Coding, Attribution, and payer platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at the C-suite level in both client-facing and internal influencing settings.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, including the ability to frame complex problems, build business cases, and synthesize market intelligence into recommendations.
  • Experience supporting or leading enterprise sales pursuits, including RFP/RFI responses, executive presentations, and solution design.
  • Proven ability to build productive cross-functional relationships in matrixed, fast-moving organizations.
  • Experience managing and developing teams, with a coaching orientation and commitment to developing others.
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, MPH, PhD, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience at a healthcare technology company, management consultancy, or health plan in a growth, strategy, or market-facing role preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology solutions such as population health, data and analytics, care management, and AI-driven workflow tools preferred.
  • Existing relationships within the Commercial, Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage, or government health ecosystem preferred.
