Description

  • Manage client and contracting activities for assigned pharmacy organizations.
  • Oversee the services delivered to assigned pharmacy clients, including monthly reporting, access to EQUIPP, and related network processes.
  • Develop, execute, and manage contracts for assigned pharmacy clients and their support networks.
  • Establish service levels for assigned clients and improve engagement with EQUIPP performance information.
  • Support PQS business initiatives and new product development in the pharmacy sector, including launch readiness and adoption activities.
  • Develop communications for the pharmacy team, including PQS Monthly Notes and EQUIPP Refresh Notice updates.
  • Contribute to weekly client services calls for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set goals and targets for individual accounts and help facilitate new work or development items from inception to deployment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with select pharmacy clients and tailor account approaches to client needs.
  • Provide client guidance, training, and resources on quality improvement processes and medication-related quality measures, including use of EQuIPP.
  • Improve utilization of EQUIPP Support by handling contract-related and general support questions from pharmacies and clients.
  • Collaborate with PQS staff and parent companies to support the organization’s mission and plans.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows where community pharmacists are the primary audience.
  • Travel as needed, approximately 30% of the time, including visits to client headquarters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmacy marketplace.
  • Solid understanding of quality measurement for medication use and management, including Medicare Stars, HEDIS, and/or pharmacy clinical services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Excellent work ethic and the ability to achieve with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and observe high levels of business protocol.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sensitive timelines.
  • Understanding of quality measurement systems.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Experience with pharmacy clients or pharmacy account management is preferred.
