Description

  • Lead solution architecture for an SAP S/4HANA transformation program across business processes, data and analytics, applications, and technology.
  • Define the overall solution design, including end-to-end architecture, integrations, and data migration.
  • Ensure technical solutions, platforms, and systems meet current business requirements and future needs.
  • Develop and implement an enterprise roadmap for SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise-wide integration requirements.
  • Provide leadership and technical direction across focus areas such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, cloud integration, API management, AI, advanced analytics, and IoT.
  • Ensure solution architecture is delivered to time, cost, quality, and budget expectations.
  • Maintain adherence to solution governance and enterprise architecture principles and standards.
  • Participate in governance forums such as Architecture Review Boards, Program Boards, Change Control Boards, and integration meetings.
  • Support business development and pre-sales activities, including proposals, RFPs, and RFIs.
  • Monitor solution architecture risks, dependencies, issues, mitigations, and implementation progress, and resolve architecture issues.
  • Liaise with third-party providers and vendors as needed.
  • Manage internal consulting resources, third-party provider resources, and contract resources.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a consulting company supporting large-scale SAP transformation programs.
  • Proven delivery experience on large-scale SAP-based transformation programs.
  • Experience designing and managing complete enterprise solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of project management life cycle principles and methodologies, including SAP Activate, Model Company, and SAP Value Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience with solution architecture and enterprise architecture frameworks and models such as TOGAF.
  • Strong SAP solution architecture experience in complex transformation environments.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile-based design and delivery approaches.
  • Ideally experienced in process analysis and business process design approaches.
  • Solid understanding of major data objects and SAP enterprise structures.
  • Solid understanding of SAP applications including S/4HANA and related solutions such as IBP and MDG.
  • Solid understanding of cloud, APIs, AI, and IoT technologies.
  • Experience delivering SAP through a value-driven transformation approach.
  • Strong client interaction skills and ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence, inspire, and gain buy-in from senior business management and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem management, moderation, communication, presentation, facilitation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across the firm and leverage existing resources.
  • Project-related mobility and willingness to travel.
