Description

  • Lead, coach, and manage the UK Commercial Team across new business development and account management.
  • Set team objectives, priorities, and performance expectations, and run regular one-to-ones, pipeline reviews, and performance reviews.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of commercial team members.
  • Drive new business acquisition against UK and broader AUKUS targets, including ownership of personal and team sales targets.
  • Manage opportunities from lead qualification through to close and ensure consistent CRM usage for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Support complex or strategic sales opportunities requiring senior involvement.
  • Apply structured account management practices across key UK customers to improve retention, growth, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Oversee customer engagement plans and act as an escalation point for key customer issues when needed.
  • Own UK sales performance against revenue, margin, and activity targets and deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting.
  • Execute the UK commercial strategy in alignment with AUKUS objectives and collaborate with marketing, product, operations, and finance teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in data, automotive, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses is desirable.
  • Experience working in multi-region or matrix organisations is desirable.
  • Experience working with senior or strategic customer accounts is desirable.
  • Results-driven with a hands-on leadership approach.
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Collaborative and able to influence across functions.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong commercial judgement.
