Description

  • Maintain accuracy and control over raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods inventories.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Planning to ensure materials are delivered to support production.
  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and delivery to point of use.
  • Establish and implement best practices for inventory control, material flow, and warehouse processes.
  • Support production scheduling by monitoring material availability and identifying constraints.
  • Coordinate supplier scorecard monitoring and reporting with Purchasing and Quality teams.
  • Resolve vendor return material authorizations with MRB, Purchasing, and Quality to protect the production schedule.
  • Implement and manage inventory control systems with Finance to identify discrepancies and prevent future inconsistencies.
  • Participate in cross-functional operational decision-making as part of the operations team.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in alignment with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related discipline, and/or 5+ years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing lean warehouse and material replenishment systems, such as kanban setups.
  • Proven hands-on leadership experience directing daily warehouse and material flow activities while building team engagement and accountability.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems for inventory and materials planning, such as SAP, Oracle, or Infor Syteline, is a strong plus.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certification is optional but beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Ability to work in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for inventory management, material tracking, and operational performance.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and timelines.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, quantitative analysis, and analytical abilities.
  • Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate business results and department needs.
  • Strong leadership, accountability, and responsibility with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
