Description

  • Lead and manage psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals across medical services operations.
  • Provide both administrative and clinical oversight to support excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and drive continuous improvement in clinical services.
  • Ensure medical services comply with applicable behavioral health regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with psychotherapists, diagnosticians, support staff, and families to deliver integrated care.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external medical providers and agencies to support coordinated care and referrals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead performance management and improvement plans.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and mentorship of new medical staff.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • PMHNP-BC certification.
  • Active PMHNP/APRN license in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Maryland, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses.
  • At least 3 years of post-licensure experience as a PMHNP, including pediatric or adolescent mental health experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative or leadership role in a behavioral health setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of medical professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to behavioral health services.
  • Experience working independently at the top of scope in psychiatric care (preferred).
  • Comfort using Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms.
