Description

  • Deploy and maintain .NET web applications across IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Provide Tier 3 technical support and communicate status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Participate in on-call support and incident response to maintain system availability and security.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, CI/CD processes, and deployment workflows.
  • Administer Windows Server, Azure cloud services, IIS, and related application infrastructure.
  • Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance, availability, reliability, and security issues.
  • Coordinate application releases and production deployments with development and DevOps teams.
  • Collaborate with developers, customers, business stakeholders, and SQL Server DBAs to resolve issues and improve solutions.
  • Evaluate infrastructure and applications to improve scalability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, infrastructure, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure App Services or container services.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server-based web applications, IIS, Windows Server, and Git.
  • Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Site24/7, or Grafana.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management, risk assessment, and networking fundamentals.
  • Preferred: Microsoft certifications, .NET enterprise application deployment, containerized applications, 24/7 production environments, and scalable process automation.
