Description

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network components.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure availability, performance, security, and quality.
  • Administer user accounts and access authorizations.
  • Monitor systems, perform regular backups, and maintain monitoring and backup processes.
  • Analyze errors, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and proactively identify potential problems.
  • Assess security risks and threats and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Support the deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Document system configurations, operational processes, and solutions.
  • Configure and monitor distributed systems, including geo-redundant environments, application servers, and cloud platforms.
  • Communicate technical issues and their impact clearly to clients and implement solutions aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable practical experience as a System Administrator or in a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud services.
  • In-depth experience administering Linux servers and operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic procedures, digital signatures, and certificates.
  • Knowledge of network security, encryption, access controls, IT security, and data protection.
  • Experience with virtualized environments, monitoring tools, and backup tools.
  • Experience setting up, configuring, and operating distributed systems, including geo-redundancy.
  • Based in Germany.
  • Fluent written and spoken German at C2 level, plus sufficient English proficiency.
