Description

  • Administer, monitor, configure, maintain, recover, and update AWS, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Linux, Microsoft Server, email, storage, and related infrastructure.
  • Manage enterprise backup, recovery, archival, immutability, and cloud/object storage platforms for on-premises and cloud workloads.
  • Design, implement, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, including replication, failover, RPO/RTO planning, and multi-region recovery.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning sessions and annual recovery exercises.
  • Administer cloud storage, backup, networking, DNS, Cloudflare, and identity/SSO infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and recommend automated, scalable system administration approaches.
  • Participate in change management, CAB reviews, maintenance planning, security control reviews, and compliance audits.
  • Create operational procedures, technical documentation, recovery runbooks, reports, metrics, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Manage vendor relationships, renewals, technical assessments, proof-of-concept activities, quotes, and procurement recommendations.
  • Provide project support, backup technical support, and on-call assistance during non-business hours and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree.
  • Five years of successful experience in a related field.
  • Technical competence in at least two applicable technologies, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Entra, Terraform, Linux, or Microsoft Server.
  • Enterprise backup or storage platform certifications, such as Rubrik or Pure Storage, preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Availability to work remotely during 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
  • Availability for on-call support, non-business hours, and weekends as needed.
  • Strong technical, analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Base salary of $80,000–$90,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
