Description

  • Architect, scale, and maintain high-volume Shopify Plus stores using Liquid, JavaScript, React, and GraphQL.
  • Lead the strategy, development, and deployment of headless commerce architectures using Shopify Hydrogen, Remix/Oxygen, or Next.js.
  • Build secure custom Shopify apps and middleware in Node.js and TypeScript to handle webhooks and background jobs.
  • Own the migration of legacy scripts and design secure checkout logic using Shopify Checkout Extensibility and Shopify Functions.
  • Architect API integrations between Shopify and enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and PIM platforms.
  • Own Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and server-side optimization to support high-traffic sales events.
  • Establish clean code standards, lead code reviews, manage CI/CD pipelines, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering with a strong focus on enterprise Shopify or ecommerce platforms.
  • Master-level expertise in Shopify Plus, Liquid, Shopify theme architecture, and Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL).
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern serverless/cloud hosting environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Hydrogen or Next.js is mandatory.
  • Proven experience implementing Checkout Extensibility and custom business logic with Shopify Functions.
  • Extensive experience integrating complex webhooks and third-party ERP/PIM systems.
  • Strong expertise in Git workflows, CI/CD setup, testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress, and agile engineering practices.
  • Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.
  • Active Shopify Partner/Developer certifications are a plus.
