Description

Serve as the technical testing subject matter expert for Momentum performance testing initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain automated performance testing frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
Evaluate and recommend automation approaches, tools, and best practices to improve testing efficiency and reduce complexity.
Lead development of automated performance testing solutions using multiple software development languages and tools.
Mentor and coach performance testing developers and analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure automated solutions are version-controlled, traceable, and well-documented.
Configure, maintain, and upgrade automation tool environments and related plugins.
Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and GitHub to enable continuous testing and repeatability.
Manage test environment connectivity, data dependencies, and tool access for technical and testing teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of software development or software engineering experience, or a Master's degree and 6 years of software development or software engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with Momentum Financials and implementing Momentum in a cloud-based environment.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Momentum technical configurations and parsing Momentum logs for root cause analysis.
Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL experience with Oracle databases.
Experience installing, maintaining, and working with CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins or job schedulers such as Control-M.
Hands-on experience developing Momentum Form Import data files in compliant data structures and using SFTP tools such as WinSCP.
Hands-on experience using, testing, and developing technical solutions for Momentum web service APIs.
Proficiency with Groovy, Java, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages used in automation frameworks.
Experience working within or supporting federal agencies or highly regulated environments.
Ability to work within multienvironment federal testing ecosystems such as DEV, TEST, UAT, and PreProd.
Strong understanding of API and GUI testing capabilities.
Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
Ability to analyze test failures and perform root-cause analysis.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs is preferred.
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
Experience working with RedHat OpenShift is preferred.
Experience testing financial systems, ERP modules, or similar enterprise applications is preferred.
